Health and Safety

We recognise and accept our responsibility for providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and members of the public and to avoid and actively prevent the risks associated with the nature of our work.

To achieve this we conduct regular risk assessments to identify hazards and plan how they can by eliminated and controlled. This is then feed through the workforce through regular training and information sessions to ensure all employees are kept informed about safety developments. Also we encourage communication between employees and from employees to management to ensure all learning is shared effectively.

Regular training on the use of equipment is provided and all employees are CSCS compliant.

We regularly monitor our health and safety policies to keep in line with changing regulations and to ensure best practices are in place. We are fully aware of the need to employ external contractors when necessary to undertake work or duties outside of our normal capability, when this is the case only people who are competent and compliant with health and safety regulations will be employed.

We all have a legal duty to co-operate together to ensure all safety matters are adhered to and ourselves or others are not endangered through deliberate actions or misuse of safety equipment. In particular all persons are to ensure that appropriate safety rules are followed and to understand that failure to do so may result in disciplinary action being taken.
